Buxhoevedn’s Room – Medieval Interior Reconstruction
This school project was created in collaboration with darth_snader.artstation.com.
The task was to recreate an interior based on medieval Estonian architecture. We chose Buxhoevedn’s room from Kuressaare Castle, located in Saaremaa, Estonia.
To achieve accurate proportions and spatial credibility, we used the FSpy plugin to match the scale and camera perspective to reference imagery.
The wallpaper ornament was recreated in Adobe Illustrator, allowing us to build a clean, repeatable pattern suitable for high-resolution use in the environment.
This project helped develop skills in historical reference analysis, modular thinking, and translating real architectural spaces into a 3D environment.
